The Historical Antarctic Sealing Industry Conference, 2016
Scott Polar Research Institute, Cambridge, UK, 19–20 September 2016
This conference, on the history and legacies of the Antarctic sealing industry, was the first gathering of experts from around the globe in this field and provided a forum for an exchange of research and opinions. Following the conference, a one day trip to Ironbridge Gorge to see industrial sites associated with sealing.
